Michael J. Marino Jr.
Owner
As Owner of MJM Associates Construction LLC, Michael J. Marino Jr. oversees the firm’s construction operations and strategic direction, drawing on more than four decades of experience in construction, project management, real estate development, and design consulting.
Widely recognized for his ability to anticipate field conditions before they arise, Michael has built a reputation for proactive planning, disciplined execution, and delivering complex projects on schedule. His leadership ensures that every project — from preconstruction through final completion — is executed with precision while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
As the founder of MJM, Michael has grown the company into one of New York City’s premier construction firms, specializing in luxury commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential developments. He believes that successful projects are built through close collaboration with architects, designers, consultants, and ownership teams, creating spaces that are both architecturally exceptional and financially successful.
As both a builder and developer, Michael understands the challenges faced throughout every phase of construction. His hands-on leadership, combined with a trusted network of industry professionals and subcontractors, allows MJM to consistently deliver value-driven solutions while maintaining efficiency, transparency, and craftsmanship.
Beyond construction, Michael is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He actively supports numerous charitable initiatives through donations and fundraising efforts, with one of his most meaningful philanthropic commitments being The Danielle Antar Foundation.
Michael J. Marino III
Owner
Michael J. Marino III is Owner of MJM Associates Construction LLC and represents the second generation of leadership within the company. For more than twenty years, he has led the development and construction of high-end retail, office, hospitality, and residential projects throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Michael believes that successful projects are built through hands-on leadership and collaboration. From acquisition and preconstruction through design, construction, and project closeout, he remains actively involved in every phase of the development process. Working alongside his father, he oversees project management, scheduling, subcontractor procurement, budget management, Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) and Final Certificate of Occupancy (CO) approvals, ensuring every project is delivered with the highest level of quality and efficiency.
At the core of Michael’s leadership philosophy is creating a strong team culture. He believes that when employees are empowered, supported, and invested in, they produce exceptional work and lasting client relationships. This collaborative environment has become a defining characteristic of MJM, fostering accountability, innovation, and excellence across every project.
A graduate of the NYU School of Construction with a concentration in estimating, drafting, and project management, Michael combines technical expertise with practical field experience. He has held a New York City Department of Buildings Construction License for more than a decade and maintains multiple site safety certifications, reinforcing MJM’s commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism.
