Site Safety

In a high-hazard industry like construction, safety is an investment that provides real benefits. A safe work environment helps retain skilled employees and keeps projects on track by reducing accidents that result in injuries and schedule delays, while also mitigating the risks of litigation and regulatory action.

Everyone’s involvement is crucial if we want to achieve a total safety culture in our company. Every person is vulnerable and can potentially be involved in accidents. This reality must be instilled in the minds of everyone on the site so that negligence is not tolerated, and safety is never compromised.

To prevent mishaps at our job sites, safety must be given attention and priority. OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards must be practiced at all levels. Some sites are equipped with safety managers who should be viewed as a resource to continually review and enhance safety efforts made by everyone on site. At sites without safety managers, every person on the site is responsible for safety.

Accountability must be a core component of the safety culture.

We prioritize safety at all our job sites. There is a Zero Tolerance Policy in the company regarding safety. Please ensure that all personnel at the construction sites comply with and adhere to safe practices.

It is company policy that accident prevention be a prime concern for all employees. This includes the safety and well-being of our employees, subcontractors, and customers, as well as the prevention of wasteful, inefficient operations and damage to property and equipment.

This Safety Policy applies to all employees of MJM Associates Construction LLC, regardless of their position within the company. Every employee is expected to comply with the Safety Policy, as well as OSHA Health and Safety Standards.

This Safety Policy supports six fundamental means of maximizing employee involvement:

  1. Management commitment to safety.

  2. Weekly tool box safety meetings at all job sites.

  3. Effective job safety training for all categories of employees.

  4. Job hazard analysis provided to all employees.

  5. Audio and/or visual safety presentations given at job sites.

  6. Various incentive awards for exemplary safety performance.
